How much notice does he have to give? He has been round 2 times already this week now wants to come again today and was cross when I said it wasn't a good time. We are leaving on Monday smile

If you are leaving on next Monday, that's the end of a 3 months notice.

I suppose that during this time your landlord was able to find a new tenant and to fulfill the whishes this new tenant had before to sign the contract?

No, he's done nothing. We've taken photos for him to advertise and he has been round 3 times to see what needs to be done. It all needs redecorating and new carpets anyway so why he needs to gone round again is a mystery. He usually tells us a couple of hours before he arrives.
